Take Care of Your Holiday Linen
We are full swing into the holiday season, which means it’s time to break out the fine china and fine dining. We discussed in an earlier post the best ways to take care of your holiday clothing
during this season of celebration, but it’s important to remember the fine linen used during big holiday dinners.
Table linens can last for many holiday dinners if they are cleaned correctly. For your embroidered and fine fabric linens, allow Mark Pressed4Time to take care of the load. Call for pick-up services

For linens that can be cared for at home
, here are a few tips to make sure the linens make it to the next special holiday.
Fine linen provides an elegant touch to your holiday events
- Treat stains immediately- Treat a small part of the fabric with your stain remover to make sure it does not damage the fabric. Treat the stain and prepare linens for the washing machine.
- Wash in warm water- Wash the linens in warm water on the gentle cycle. Make sure your washing detergent can be used on delicate fabrics. Place napkins and delicate tablecloths in a lingerie bag in the washing machine for extra protection.
- Dry on medium heat- Shake out the linen and place them in the dryer on medium heat. Remove the linens while they are still damp and iron on a medium setting. After ironing, while the linen is still damp hang it to dry, this will significantly reduce wrinkles.
- Fold and hang- Once the document is dry fold it and hang it on a garment hanger. You can protect the linen with plastic.
. To make sure the party goes on for years to come, take care of your linen as soon as stains occur and wash your linen after each use.The holiday season can get pretty busy, allow Mark Pressed4Time to give you the gift of time and dependability.
